Truckee's 2014 Historical Haunted Tour is a fundraising event for Trail and Vistas! Trails & Vistas is an organization based that was founded by the creative soul Nancy Tieken Lopez. In addition to producing truly unique annual art hikes every September (yup, that's a big hint to secure your art hike tickets while there are still some left!), Trails & Vistas is dedicated to producing a modified version of the public art hikes for local third grade children - at no cost to the students. The organization knew this goal would need crucial funds to assist with the extra time and resources required by schools to enable students to venture onto the trails for this engaging and inspiring field trip. Trails and Vistas also knew support from the community to keep the nationally renown artists in Truckee for an extra few days to continue performing would be critical. And, we are so proud to help - your support of Truckee's Historical Haunted Tour just that! | 2014 will mark the third year funds raised through the Historical Haunted Tour will provide Trails & Vistas signature art hikes to more than three hundred third grade students from Truckee, North Lake and Incline Village! Woo hoo! Thanks for all you do, Trails and Vistas. We are so looking forward to the Sept. 6 and 7 art hikes and Sept. 6 World Concert at Sand Harbor! One of this year's Art Hike artists is Andres Amador! |
